Musicians like myself want to focus on authenticity of real world sounds and instruments more, than the ability to edit, change sound parameters or play around with AI and its corresponding ‘music/sound’ synthesis.

I think there are more ‘convincing’ models of vst instrument/actual instrument samples that mirror the sounds of real world instruments in the market. IMHO, the artist gets left out in the cold because of the daunting number of rules and protocol necessary to implement realistic sounding recordings in the analog vst instrument UI.

The music software edit systems Halion/Steinberg/Yamaha has put forth might serve and cater to the producer/engineer specifically than to the artist musician. The culinary kitchen is no place for perfection!! HALion is a software instrument application, created by German music software company Steinberg for macOS and Windows. I’m concerned that, the actual edit technology doesn’t communicate to the much more subtle understanding of musical concepts and emotions.
Best there is in the music/sounds editing universe. H6 is over the top when it comes to creating new sounds in synthesis.
